My MFA thesis, The Big Book of Instant Myth(s): A Partly Fictive Thesis on Loss of Self, demonstrates the unreliability of external direction by being unreliable.

As in the case of Hilma Af Klint, that external other could be an interdimensional presence, or as in William Blake’s case, a mystical experience with his creator. In this case, my own personal mythologies collide with the questionable use of a generative AI writing tool.

Regardless of the source, I believe a bit of playful absurdity as a method of research provides some necessary insight into and examination of human creativity.
