I recently had the opportunity to participate in a Life Drawing Marathon organized by the Royal Hibernian Academy here in Dublin. The set up was fantastic: 5 days of drawing from a model, a different artist facilitating each day, and a mix of short to long poses.

The works above are my favorites from the week. For the paintings, I used a limited palette of yellow ochre, cadmium red, ivory black, and titanium white. The quick gesture drawing was done with an earthy red pastel pencil.
